<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in this kind of conventional discharge lamp, it takes man-hours because a combination of halides enclosed in a discharge chamber every time a different luminescent color is demanded, and a production line is complicated. <P>SOLUTION: This color mercury-free high-luminance discharge lamp 1 has a mercury-free high-luminance discharge lamp 2 containing sodium halide, scandium halide and indium halide, and an interference film filter 3 composed by alternately stacking thin films each composed of a high-refractive index member and a low-refractive index member, and generates a desired luminescent color by cutting a predetermined amount of a predetermined spectral region from the emission spectrum from the discharge lamp 2 by the filter 3. Thereby, the color is set by the filter 3 without relying on the discharge lamp 2, and the discharge lamp 2 is standardized, so that the purpose is accomplished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
