<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high polymer fuel cell, which is excellent in durability with high output, by providing a manufacturing method, which can form easily and efficiently a gas diffusion electrode for solid high polymer fuel cells, which has porosity, and is excellent in conductivity, water repellence nature, and durability. <P>SOLUTION: By mixing a catalyst, in which a metal is held by carbon, and fluoride-containing ion-exchange resin so that the ratio WF/WC, which is the ratio of the mass WF of the above resin in the liquid, and the mass WC of carbon in the catalyst, may become 0.05 to 0.5, then, after distributing it so that the rate of the particles below 1.0 μm may become 30 volume % or more to all the distributed particles, as the particle diameter distribution of the distributed catalyst particle, further, the above resin is added so that the WF/WC may become 0.7 to 1.7, and the gas diffusion electrode is produced using the distributed liquid obtained by this. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
