CONTROL METHOD AND CONTROLLER FOR OPTICAL FILTER AND OPTICAL NODE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent control of an optical filter and a light source from becoming difficult even when the number of wavelengths of WDM signal light increases regarding a control method and a controller for the optical filter.

SOLUTION: In this control method for the optical filter, the WDM signal light obtained by wavelength-division-multiplexing a plurality of optical signals having different wavelengths is supplied to the optical filters 34 and 54 and output WDM signal light including a part of the plurality of the optical signals is obtained. The output WDM signal light is converted into electrical signals for the respective optical signals included in it. Then, the optical filter is controlled so as to stabilize the characteristics on the basis of the electrical signals.
