PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device where miniaturization and thinning are easy and key input can be carried out by positively contacting a contact part even when a circumferential rim part of a key top face is pressed by fingers or the like, and a keyboard device provided with the key switch device. SOLUTION: The key switch device 1 is provided with a plurality of lever members 3-5 with one end sides turnably engaged with a base plate 2, a holding member 6 supported so as to vertically move with respect to the base plate 2 by engaging with other end sides of the lever members 3-5, and a switching element 9 provided between the base plate 2 and the holding member 6 and carrying out a switching action following vertical movement of the holding member 6. A turning shaft (a shaft part 5d) of the lever member 5 is arranged so as to cross turning shafts (shaft parts 3f and 45f) of engagement parts of the lever members 3 and 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
