<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyelectrolyte battery which has no liquid leakage, and is highly safe. <P>SOLUTION: A dipentaerythritol acrylate series monomer, an aliphatic polyethylene glycol diacrylate series monomer, a polymerization initiator which is a peroxide whose 10-hour half-life temperature is 35 to 50°C containing a plurality of cyclic hydrocarbon group(s) and an electrolyte are mixed to prepare a monomer-containing electrolytic solution. This is the polyelectrolyte battery prepared by polymerization after the solution is contained in a shutdown-type separator whose thickness is 5 μm to 20 μm and Gurley aeration time is 30 to 500 seconds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
