<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe solid electrolyte lithium series secondary battery and its manufacturing method wherein high output characteristics is realized over a wide temperature range. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium series secondary battery uses a solid electrolyte as the electrolyte, and this solid electrolyte is phase-separated into a support structure phase containing a polymer cross-linked body and an electrolytic solution phase which contains at least one part of the electrolytic solution and the average diameter converted into a sphere is within the range of 10 μm to 1.0 μm, and a negative electrode swells in the initial charging process after manufacturing the battery, and threby, the thickness of the solid gel electrolyte layer after the completion of the charging is decreased from 95% to 80% against the thickness of the solid electrolyte layer before the charging, and the electrolytic solution contains a bispentafluoroethyl sulfonyl imidelithium as at least one part of an electrolyte salt at the concentration from 0.6 mol/L to 2.0 mol/L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
