IMAGE PROCESSOR, TRANSMITTING METHOD FOR FIRMWARE, AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR IMAGE PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, transmitting method for firmware and management system for the image processor allowing the proper updating of the firmware for controlling the operation of the image processor even if an initial set is partially changed in the updating of the firmware stored in a rewritable storage device such as flash ROM by transmitting a new firmware thereto to rewrite the content of the storage device.

SOLUTION: When the new firmware is transmitted, a control program (containing a script) in which the processing to be executed on the image processor side at least before or after the updating processing to the new firmware is described is transmitted together.
