<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system, which can judge the cause of the voltage drop down correctly. <P>SOLUTION: In a reforming fuel cell system, it has a voltage sensor 14 which measures the pressure of a fuel cell 12, load extraction equipment 16 which takes out the load set as the predetermined load time constant from the fuel cell 12, and a control unit 17 which memorizes the predetermined value Rb of the time constant at the time of the voltage drop down by the increase in CO ingredient in hydrogen rich gas, and the predetermined value Ra of the constant at the time of the voltage drop down by the increase in unreacted raw materials. In the case the fuel cell 12 shows the voltage drop, the cause of the voltage drop is judged whether it is the increase of CO ingredient, unreacted raw materials, or the extraction load, by comparing the predetermined value Ra, the predetermined value Rb, the theoretical value Rc of the time constant, and actual measurement value DV. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
