PORTABLE TERMINAL, PORTABLE TERMINAL SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the user of a system has to perform an operation to decide whether code information is transmitted to an external unit or stored in a memory arranged inside a portable terminal by changing-over the operation of the portable terminal such as separating the portable terminal from external communication equipment. SOLUTION: A sensor is arranged at a port to be connected to the external communication unit in the portable terminal and, then, it is determined whether the external communication unit is connected or not by the output of the sensor. Code information is transmitted to the external unit when the external unit is connected and stored in the memory arranged in the portable terminal unless the external unit is connected.
