PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple capacitor that can be increased in joining strength with respect to a mother board, and at the same time, can effectively prevent the occurrence of bleeding, at screen-printing of end-face conductors and the peeling of main-surface conductors from a dielectric block. SOLUTION: This multiple capacitor has the dielectric block 1 formed by laminating a plurality of rectangular dielectric layers 2 upon another, a plurality of capacitance forming electrodes formed among the dielectric layers 2, and the end-face conductors 5a and 6a formed on the end faces of the block 1 and connected to the capacitance-forming electrodes. This capacitor also has a plurality of external electrodes 5 and 6, composed of the main-surface conductors 5b and 6b formed on the mounted main surface side of the block 1 and connected to the end-face conductors 5a and 6a. In this capacitor, notched sections 22 are formed in the end face-side areas of the mounted main surface of the dielectric block 1, and at the same time, the main-surface conductors 5b and 6b are formed in the notched sections 22.
