摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure between a non-radiative dielectric line and a metal waveguide which can make small connection loss, signal leakage, reflection and transmission loss. <P>SOLUTION: In the connection structure between an NRD guide and a metal waveguide 5, the NRD guide is provided with a dielectric line 3 for propagating a high frequency signal to between parallel plate conductors 1 and 2 positioned as spaced by a distance corresponding to 1/2 of the wavelength of the high-frequency signal, at least one 1 of the plate conductors has an opening 5 at a location such that the electric field of standing wave of an LSM mode propagated through the dielectric line 3 becomes maximum, the open end of a metal waveguide 4 is connected to the opening 5, and a metal foil is bonded onto an inner surface of the parallel plate conductor 1 having the opening 5 formed therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
