ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY DEVICE USING BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control temperature fluctuations in the whole of a plurality of battery module groups.

SOLUTION: An electric power supply device 1 using batteries comprises a box 2 having a cooling air introducing port 3 and a suction fan 4, and a battery aggregate 5 installed in the box 2. The battery aggregate 5 is composed of the battery module groups 61to 65. The respective battery module groups 61to 65are constituted of plural rod battery modules 7 in which axial lines are intersected with a cooling air circulation direction A in a virtual plane P1. The axial lines of the both rod battery modules 7 adjacent to each other at the cooling air circulation direction A are positioned in a virtual plane P2. The distances a and b between the both rod battery modules 7 are set as a>b. When the number of the virtual plane P1on the one hand is made as L and the number of the virtual plane P2on the other hand is made as N, the ratio L/N of the both L and N is 0.5≤L/N≤2.0.
