PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge holder which is small in the number of parts and with which reliability can be expected in holding of a cartridge by a simple assembly process step. SOLUTION: Total four guide pins 23 are formed symmetrically to the center line and fore and after with respect to the insertion direction of the cartridge on the outer flank of the cartridge holder 22 and total four elastic areas 241, 242, 243 and 244 are formed symmetrically to the center line and fore and after with respect to the insertion direction of the cartridge on the outside surface in the upper part of the cartridge holder 22. In addition, the respective elastic areas 241, 242, 243 and 244 are respectively circumferentially encircled by slits 31, 32 and 33 and are deformably supported atop the cartridge holder 22 by base ends 30 disposed perpendicularly to the insertion direction of the cartridge 21. The under surfaces at the front ends of the respective elastic areas 241, 242, 243 and 244 are provided with projecting parts 24a for pressing the cartridge 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
