PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling moving pictures, which enables an appreciator to switch a projected moving picture to moving pictures obtained by moving the projected moving picture vertically and horizontally, moving pictures obtained through a telephone and a close-up lens, etc., with his/her control. SOLUTION: As projected moving pictures, a right-side deep moving picture, a left-side deep moving picture, an upper deep moving picture, a lower deep moving picture, etc., having their picture ranges varied are prepared in addition to a moving picture which is previously projected and at an appreciator's request, the moving pictures are switched and displayed. Or a producer prepares a large moving picture and sets portions of it as projected moving pictures, and a projection object range may be switched vertically and horizontally in the prepared large image.
