PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-resistance resistor which can measure current value with precision and in which the temperature coefficient of the resistance can be reduced. SOLUTION: This low-resistance resistor comprises a plate-shaped resistance element 12 composed of an alloy for low resistance, a pair of current terminals 13, 14 arranged on both end parts of a surface of the resistance element, and a pair of voltage-detecting terminals 15, 16 arranged on both end parts of the other surface of the resistance element, wherein the voltage detecting terminals 15, 16 are arranged at sides farther outward than the current detecting terminals 13, 14.
