PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor, which is a general-purpose resistor of an intermediate region between a bathtub resistor and a painted resistor, having advantages of both types, while eliminating their shortcomings. SOLUTION: This caseless resistor comprises a resistor elements, formed to have a prescribed resistance value and connecting terminals that are respectively connected to both ends of the resistor element, wherein the resistor element and each part of the connection terminals, from which a part near the end for fixing to a substrate is excluded, are coasted only with cement but are not coated with insulating paint or an insulating case.
