<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the communication of multimedia data between various equipment and to miniaturize these equipment. <P>SOLUTION: In a radio communication system 1, video data to be transmitted are uniformly transformed to the form of MPEG2 and sent to a wireless LAN 10. Therefore, the equipment on a receiving side is made into equipment corresponding to the MPEG2 form or when data in the MPEG2 form can not be processed, by uniformly receiving the data via an MPEG2 decoder, the exchange of music or video data is facilitated between the equipment of various processible data forms. Besides, the equipment on the receiving side is provided with the MPEG2 decoder to receive video or the like so that the equipment can be miniaturized without necessity to provide the decoder of the other form or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
