PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid inconvenience such as becoming usable to use the department control function.

SOLUTION: In a system environment to apply the department control function, when bidirectional communication of a printing apparatus and a client computer cannot be predicted to be established, processing is switched so as not to execute authentication processing to be executed by using the bidirectional communication.
