<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To timely vary time-out time according to information transmitted from a connecting expanding device even when getting a communication environment different in initialization end informing time for every connecting expanding device. <P>SOLUTION: This printer device is characterized by the constitution that a control part 108 acquires the information transmitted after read out to a memory part 105 from a control part 103 after starting initialization processing by communication with a network interface device 101 via an expanding interface part 107, and the control part 108 variably sets the time-out time peculiar to the connecting network interface device 101 on the basis of the acquired information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
