<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact and inexpensive optical receiver having a monitor circuit that can accurately monitor an optical reception level, even if an optical signal input level is low. <P>SOLUTION: In the monitor circuit having the optical input level of the optical receiver, a diode 15 and a resistor 16 are provided in the output of an operational amplifier 9 used as a voltage follower, the anode and cathode sides of the diode 15 are connected to the output of the operational amplifier 9 and the negative input side of the operational amplifier 9 and a monitor output terminal 10, respectively, thus shifting the output voltage of the operational amplifier 9 by the forward voltage of the diode 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
