PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic answering telephone message E-mail transfer system in which the contents of a message is automatically converted into text data only by recording the message in an automatic answering telephone and transferred to a prescribed mail address. SOLUTION: When a caller records the message, the message is recorded in a voice recording circuit and a processing is changed into an E-mail generation processing, wherein the recorded message is converted into text data by a voice recognizing/text converting function, the E-mail is generated together with header information and it is transmitted to the predetermined mail address. When a message erase function is effective after transmitting the E-mail, the transmitted contents message is erased from the voice recording circuit and a state is changed into an incoming call standby state. When the function is ineffective, an after-transmission flag is set in the head of the message and the same message is prevented from being transmitted a plurality of times. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
