<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fee collecting system, a fee collecting method, electronic equipment, a storage medium, and a program capable of controlling the use of the electronic equipment without allowing the cumulative amount of rental fee of the electronic equipment connected to a network to surpass a pre- allocated budget. <P>SOLUTION: This fee collecting system is provided with terminals 101 as terminals connected to each other through the network 104, an account management server 102 as a server computer, and a printer 103. When a processing request information 501 is transmitted, as the instruction for printing, from the terminal 101 to the printer 103, the printer 103 calculates an estimated fee based on the processing request information 501, and requests a direct debit for the account management server 102. When the direct debit is succeeded, a processing is performed based on the processing request information 501.
