<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active material used for a tertiary battery capable of keeping conductivity of particles even if the electrode active material is changed in powder by charge discharge, preventing coming off of fine particles from the particles, and giving conductivity to the active material. <P>SOLUTION: Granular active material is manufactured by adding conductive fillers such as carbon fibers, carbon particles, Ni fibers, Ni particles, a Ni foil, Ni-plated fibers, Ni-plated particles, and a Ni-plated foil to the powder of a material acting as the active material such as nickel hydroxide, and then curing the mixture with alkali resistant resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
