<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a printing service by using a prepaid card or electronic wallet card belonging to an unspecified person and having an unspecified issuing source. <P>SOLUTION: If a card (prepaid card or electronic wallet card) belonging to the unspecified person and having an unspecified issuing source is inserted into a card insertion slot of a card recorder 4, a CPU 11 reads the recorded contents of the card to acquire information showing the issuing source and a residual amount of money of the card and then performs a printing service by using an output device 1 within the range of the residual amount of money shown by the acquired information. The CPU calculates printing charge necessary for the printing service, subtracts the printing charge from the residual amount of money shown by the acquired information to update the residual amount of money after the printing service is finished, and writes the updated residual amount of money onto the card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
