METHOD OF ELIMINATING TIP AND REAR END DEFECTIVE PARTS OF COIL MATERIAL, AND SYSTEM FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting and eliminating tip and rear end defective parts of a coil material in a consistent manufacturing line to obtain a product coil in the final processing line by performing the predetermined processing in each processing while successively transferring the coil material in a plurality of processing lines.

SOLUTION: The coil materials are independently followed up and managed, the information on the front and rear end defective parts in each processing line is superposed and accumulated in the quality information database, a cutting position of the front and rear end of the coil material is determined on the basis of the accumulated information on the tip and rear end defective parts, and the tip and rear end defective parts of the coil material is cut and eliminated to obtain the product coil.
