<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print order data transmitting/receiving system capable of quickly judging whether or not the factor of the incapability of a laboratory server to acquire print order data is caused by the failure of an information line. <P>SOLUTION: A laboratory server 31 transmits an electronic mail to a center server 21 in a prescribed timing, and when such electronic mail is not transmitted to the center server 21, it is judged that the same information line to be used for acquiring print order data is defective.
