PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent careless contact of a conductor plate for connecting a battery of a protection circuit module to an opposite electrode in an assembled state of a battery pack in a simple constitution without increasing a cost. SOLUTION: This protection circuit module is equipped with a board; an electronic component mounted on the board and constituting the protection circuit; a mold body formed on the board so as to envelop the electronic component; and a terminal plate connected to a suitable part of the board and connecting the protection circuit to a rechargeable battery, and a general surface which is flat or almost flat is formed on the upper surface of the module body, and a projection integrally projecting from the general surface is formed in the module body.
