PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency relay having improved isolation-related high frequency characteristics with a simple structure without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This high frequency relay comprises a metal base, an earth terminal fitted to the base, a fixed terminal fitted to the base through a metal member, a movable contact, a shield plate surrounding a contact device formed of the fixed terminal and movable contact, and a drive device formed of electromagnets. The movable contact driven by the drive device is opened and closed by the repeated movement of the fixed terminal close to and apart from the shield plate. A contact part between the movable contact and the shield plate is formed of such a material that the electrical contact resistance thereof is generally constant.
