摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic control system in which a control center side can instantly grasp an abnormal position and a traffic light side can immediately operate with an emergency pattern when the earthquake having abnormal seismic intensity occurs and which is inexpensive and is easily introduced and to provide communication equipment used in the traffic control system. SOLUTION: When the earthquake having abnormal seismic intensity occurs at the installation position of a self-signal light, abnormal seismic intensity information is acquired and transmitted together with positional information acquired by using a global positioning system to the control center side by utilizing a portable telephone packet communication network. The control center side that has received the abnormal seismic intensity information and the positional information superimposes abnormal position information corresponding to at least the received positional information on a map drawn on the basis of prescribed map data for display.
