PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact spring and a switch using the contact spring with superior durability preventing defective continuity between a stationary contact and the contact spring for enduring remarkably increased switch operations in a mobile phone or the like. SOLUTION: An inner face side of an outer circumferential end part 2 of the dome shaped contact spring 1 is formed in a smooth curved surface shape. To be specific, since frictional force between the contact spring 1 and the stationary contact becomes small by forming a radius of curvature of the curved surface shape at 10μm or more, no defective continuity is caused by wear or cracking of the stationary contact even when the number of keying times increases and durability of the switch can be improved. By punching out an outer circumferential rim of a dome from a lower face side to an upper face side of the dome when forming the contact spring 1 by press working, the inner face side of the outer circumferential end part 2 can be formed in the smooth curved surface shape.
