摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming fluorescent substance on a substrate capable of forming the fluorescent substance with a uniform thickness without producing a dead space and the substrate having the fluorescent substance formed thereon by using the method. SOLUTION: A cathode ray tube (CRT) 10 for projector comprises a funnel part 11 having a skirt part and a front part 12 connected to the funnel part 11 and having a front glass. The fluorescent substance 13 is formed on the inner surface of the front part 12. The front part 12 is formed in a concave lens shape. In a fluorescent substance forming processing in which the fluorescent substance is formed on the inner surface of the front part 12 of the cathode ray tube 10, the fluorescent substance 3 containing binder is screen-printed on one surface of a water transfer paper 2, the water transfer paper 2 having dried fluorescent substance 3 is immersed in water to peel off the fluorescent substance 3 and stuck starting at the inner surface end part of the front part 1 of the cathode ray tube for projector.
