PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of sending an electronic mail to the destination as quickly as possible. SOLUTION: A control part 11 refers to destination information 14 in a storage part 13, and when the destination instructed by an operating part 15 is an electronic mail address, transmits an electronic mail to a mail server 2 controlling the domain of its own device, and requests the sending of the electronic mail. In addition, when the destination is an IP address, the control part 11 directly transmits the electronic mail to a network device 3 by using the IP address. Thus, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of any delay in the mail server 2 or another mail server from the mail server 2 to a network device 3, and to send an electronic mail to the destination as quickly as possible.
