PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote maintenance service system capable of providing various services to network-connected medical equipment so that device information such as operation log or system log can be obtained without requiring the visit to a site by a service man even in the system down of the medical equipment by any trouble. SOLUTION: This service system comprises a host computer 1 provided in a service center, and a processor 2 and auxiliary processor 3 provided in a hospital. The auxiliary processor 3 is provided in a pair with the medical equipment 4, and it shares a disc 5 with the medical equipment 4 and independently has a starting means 3e. For example, even in the system down of the medical equipment 4, the starting means 3e of the auxiliary processor 3 obtains device information such as operation log or system log from the disc 5 according to the instruction from the host computer 1.
