PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable communication terminal that is provided with a camera and a plurality of antennas and performs diversity reception to auto matically select the antenna at the farthest position from a camera as a recep tion antenna when the camera is operated. SOLUTION: The portable telephone 100 that is provided with the camera and the antennas (ANT1 and ANT2) and performs diversity reception selects the antenna (ANT1) at the farthest position from the camera as a reception antenna, and stops the diversity reception when the camera is operated.
