PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a joint which can be kept effective for a long term and is leakproof to be formed between a laser rod and a laser tube. SOLUTION: An end of a laser rod 15 is inserted into an end portion of a laser rod tube 10, so that the laser rod 15 is mounted in the laser rod tube 10. The end portion of the laser rod tube 10 has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the laser rod 15. One or more seal rings are also inserted into the laser rod tube portion so as to be disposed between the inner diameter of the laser rod tube end portion and the outer diameter of the laser rod. The end portion of the laser rod tube is swaged so as to compress the inserted one or more seal rings. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
