摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the calorific value and power consumption amount of a stepping motor, for which a two-phase excitation operation is possible. SOLUTION: A computer 1 starts the stepping motor 7 at a two-phase excitation operation mode by a starting command to a desired rotation direction (S71), and accelerates it at a two-phase excitation operation mode (S72). It is discriminated whether the motor 7 has rotated from starting time by the prescribed number of pulses at suitable time intervals (S73). If it has rotated, the system is switched to a single-phase excitation operation mode (S74), and the system is moved to a constant speed operation (S75). Then, the motor 7 is discriminated to rotate by the prescribed number of pulses from time, when it moves to the constant speed operation at the suitable time interval (S76). If it has rotated, the system is switched to the two-phase excitation operation mode (S77) and the system is moved to a deceleration operation (S78). Then, the motor 7 is discriminated whether it is rotating by the prescribed number of pulses from the start time of the deceleration operation at the suitable time interval (S79).
