PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation circuit that can reduce the noise an output signal, and at the same time, can be applied to a large-power stage at low cost. SOLUTION: A directional coupler 101 allows an input signal to be subjected to distribution output to a main signal path and a compensation signal generating path. The compensation signal generating path is composed of a low-pass filter 103 to an amplifier 112, and allows one distributed signal to be subjected to waveform compression for generating a compensation signal containing the harmonic components of the input signal. The main signal path is simply composed of the directional coupler 101, a signal transmission path 102, and a directional coupler 116, the other distributed signal is led by a mere conductor or the signal transmission path 102 that is a waveguide, and addition to the compensation signal is made by the directional coupler 116 for outputting.
