The invention relates to a heating element (1) comprising a flat heating resistor (1) and two longitudinally extended contact areas (4, 4'), which are located on said heating resistor (2) in an interspaced manner and which, between them, essentially define the surface (6, 6') to be heated of the heating resistor (2). The heating element (1) has at least one standard area (8, 8') and at least one special area (10) inside both of which the distance (12, 13) of the contact areas (4, 4') from one another is different. In addition, the heating element (1) has at least one blocking area (16, 16') that electrically isolates the standard area (8, 8') and the special area (10) from one another. In the special area (10), the electrical conductivity of the heating resistor (2) is different from that of the standard area (8, 8'). |
