A pneumatic radial tire (1), comprising a carcass (6) and a belt layer (7), wherein a cord reinforcement layer (12) having the reinforcement cord of organic fiber arranged at 30 to 60°relative to the circumferential direction of the tire is installed at the butt-less part (Bs) of the tire, the ply folded part (11) of the carcass (6) is terminated on the radial outer side of the max. width point (M) of the tire, the cord reinforcement layer (12) is held, at the radial outer end part (12U), between the carcass (6) and the belt layer (7) and, at the radial inner end part (12L), between the ply body part (10) and the ply folded-up part (11) of the carcass (6). |
