PURPOSE: A remote control service system for household appliances and a service method therefor are provided to easily grasp a current remote control state in corresponding home by preventing that a plurality of clients simultaneously control the same household appliance and notifying remote control history to each client. CONSTITUTION: One or more household appliances(100) perform operation by a control signal received through a connected session, and feed back a current driving state and a current remote control state according to the operation. A web server(300) operates a web site for receiving a remote control command of each household appliance(700) through a client terminal(700) located in a remote place, and controls a remote control server(400) so that a control signal according to the received remote control command is transmitted to the corresponding household appliance(700). The web server(300) continuously receives a signal for indicating whether the reception of the control signal is completed and signals according to the current driving state and the current remote control state of the corresponding household appliance(700), and displays the received signals on a web page. The remote control server(400) transmits the control signal to each household appliance(700), and continuously receives response signals for confirming whether the control signal transmitted from the corresponding household appliance(700) is received and confirming the current driving state and the current remote control state of the corresponding household appliance(700). The remote control server(400) records received history, and transmits the recorded history to the web server(300). A DB server(500) stores various history information recorded through the remote control server(400), client association information inputted through the web server(300), signal data for controlling the operation of each household appliance(700), and information according to the current state of the corresponding household appliance(700).
