<p>The invention concerns an optical article comprising a substrate (1) made of organic or mineral glass and a coating of transparent polymeric material (3) characterized in that it includes at least an intermediate layer (2) in direct contact with a main surface of the substrate and the polymeric material coating, the intermediate layer(s) consisting of particles of at least a colloidal mineral oxide and optionally of a binder, said intermediate layer(s) being filled with the material of the polymeric material coating or of the substrate if the latter is made of organic glass and, optionally partly with the binder when it is present, such that the intermediate layer(s), after the initial porosity has been filled, constitute each a quarter-wave plate with a wavelength ranging between 400 to 600, preferably from 450 to 650 nm.</p> |
