The vacuum cleaning apparatus for a motor vehicle radiator water tank is vacuum driven and simultaneously cyclically cleans the water tank and exchanges old cooling water for new. It comprises a feed container (1) and an outlet container (2). The feed container has a scale window (10), a pressure meter (11) and a water feed aperture (12). It is connected by an air feed tube (13) with a pressure regulator (14) and also to a valve head of a three-way valve (15). A further valve head of the three-way valve is connected to a vacuum producer (16) whilst the third valve head is connected to a first valve head of a six-way valve (3).
