The invention proposes that the container (1) for the washer fluid mixture is in the form of a pipe (2) which extends almost to the base (1111) of the container leaving a gap of between 1 and 40mm. Over time the fluids (water and washing agent) in the container settle out into layers according to their individual densities. Introduction of fresh washing solution entering through the gap between inlet pipe and container base creates turbulence which provides a stirring function.
