A zinc dust containing slurry is prepared by mixing 7.8 weight percent of a solution of a sodium silicate, 72.0 weight percent of the demineralized water, 0.2 weight percent of a surface active agent and 20 weight percent of zinc dust. A water coating material is obtained by mixing and stirring 25 weight percent of a lithium silicate into 100 weight percent of the zinc dust containing slurry.
