PURPOSE: A red light emitting material, a compound contained in the material and an organic electroluminescent device using the material are provided, wherein the device shows high luminance efficiency, emission luminance and color purity, improved electrical and chemical stabilities, and excellent heat resistance and durability. CONSTITUTION: The red light emitting material comprises the compound represented by the formula 1, wherein X and X' are independently a cyano group, a halogen atom, an alkyl carbonyl group of C1-C30 or an alkoxycarbonyl group of C1-C30; Y is an electron donating functional group; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of C1-C10, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group of C1-C10, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyloxy group of C1-C10, or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group of C6-C30; R5 is H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of C1-C10 or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of C6-C30; and R6 is H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of C1-C10 or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of C-C30. |
