<p>A compound which is useful as a VEGF receptor antagonist and has excellent properties. It is a carboxylic acid derivative represented by the formula (1) [wherein ring A represents a benzene ring, naphthalane ring, etc.; W represents C1-5 alkylene; Z represents a single bond or phenylene; R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, halogeno, C1-5 alkyl, or C1-10 alkoxy; R3 represents hydrogen, halogeno, C1-12 alkyl, C2-5 alkynyl, trifluoromethyl, acetynyl, cyano, nitro, -CH2-R6, -Y-R11, etc.; R4 represents a group represented by the formula (2) and R5 represents hydrogen or C1-5 alkyl] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the derivative.</p> |
