The guide for urging the runner roller carriage back into the closed position acts only upon the support rail (1) and/or pull-out rail (2). The fitting comprises a support rail secured to the furniture item, a pull-out rail secured to the drawer and optionally a middle rail located on either side of the drawer between the support and pull-out rails. The weight of the drawer between the rails is supported by runner rollers mounted in at least one runner carriage.
