The invention relates to dimensionally-stable hollow bodies comprising at least one compartment consisting of a material containing 10-90 percent by weight of silicate material and 10-90 percent by weight of alkali carbonate, alkali hydrogen carbonate and/or alkali percarbonate. Said material disintegrates under cleaning, washing or rinsing conditions, wherein the material of the hollow body is not a pressed material.
