PURPOSE: A connector assembly including a slide clip and a method for fabricating the slide clip are provided to minimize a space required for connection using the connector assembly, reduce the period of time needed for the connection and increase connection force of the connector assembly. CONSTITUTION: A connector assembly includes a connector plug(310), a slide clip(32), and a connector jack(330). The connector plug is composed of a cylindrical plug body(312) and at least two plug cuts(314). The plug cuts are formed at one end of the plug body in the direction of the length of the plug body. The slide clip is composed of a clip body(322) and at least two clip cuts(324). The clip body has a cylindrical form having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the plug body and is combined with the plug body. The clip cuts are formed at one end of the clip body in the direction of the length of the clip body. The connector jack has a small-diameter part(332) one end of which is combined with the plug body and a large-diameter part(334) formed at the other end of the small-diameter part.
