A transmission (1) has an input shaft (3) for driving an output shaft (4). A brake disc (13) can by radial displacement abut at its periphery (14) on a braking surface (15, 16, 17), and the input shaft (3) can subject the brake disc (13) to a torque about the axis of rotation of the brake disc. The output shaft (4) is drivingly connected to a brake gear wheel (19) which has a smaller diameter than the brake disc (13) and which is fixed coaxially to said disc (13). |
